When I use Prismatik capture engine in SVPLight, it works fine but in XBMC, the LED colours go crazy (they are refreshing very very quickly)
that's interesting
and what if you'll leave only one Lightpack?
Have not tried that yet - but let me elaborate on my symptoms and setup below
I get some of the LED's showing a green color
only "some of LEDs" ? each time random number if LEDs in random order?
did you apply "color correction" option in SVPlight or it's set to defaults?
Depends, it's a little random. Color correction is off - i.e. it's full white as my wall is white.
1. Here is my SVPLight settings. 20 LED's configured - i'll first describe using the 'Lightpack' engine. Color correction is full white - i.e. unchanged
2. Colors
Colors in action: http://youtu.be/TsGVdqc18gQ
3. Testing with the movie 'Gravity' on MPC-HC
4. Note full black screen yet the side colors are 'green'. Same issue exists on XBMC.
I tried playing another video that was just all black frames, and one of the bottom LED's and one of the top LED's was green.
5. Next issue - I switched the Engine to 'Prismatik'. I now no longer experience the phantom green LED's on black screens, however I get another issue. The LED's go wildly crazy in XBMC flashing at a very fast seizure inducing rate (albeit with the right colors). The issue does not exist when playing back with MPC-HC, only XBMC. Video below showing my problem. XBMC 13 Dsplayer is configured to use ffdshow as video decoder.
Video here showing issue http://youtu.be/iia9EfB9E-M
Current setup is Windows 7 64Bit, Latest SVPLight and SVP installed, XBMC 13 Gotham with Dsplayer installed utilising ffdshow for video and lavsplitter for audio.
Any tips? Let me know if you would like any further information/diagnostics.
