Topic: SVPtube - YouTube - rendering error

This issue just can't be solved forever.

This's how it works:
- we have YouTube link
- with this link we can get some additional info which contains URLs to each of media streams PLUS a "signature" - it's like a "password" to accessing those media streams
- "signature" is an encoded text string that should be decoded to produce the valid URL

This "decoding" procedure is continuously changing and upgrading by Google and this's the main reason why SVPtube (or some other YT downloader) accidentally stops working.

I am on version 1.2.1

Thank you for the program anyway. It is the best solution for slow computers in combination with MPC-HC. HTML5-Player is a pain.

YouTube is widely distributed system, the changes made in one area just can't be spread worldwide instantly.
It can take days, or weeks, in fact I don't really know how it works big_smile

So, this link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jxWUUO4aqk - is now working in my area (in Russia in fact).
I can only do something if (and when) it'll stop to work here.

Encrypted signatures code was changed again, so SVPtube updated to version 1.2.3.

Are BBC America videos encrypted with special signature? because none of them work when using the latest version.

VEVO music videos work ok now.

It looks like youtube changed the encryption again, is there a way around this or I just have to wait until they update the svp player again???

A lot of youtube videos work, however it seems all music videos do not render anymore.

Both links are working to me. I tested two resolutions: 720p and 1080p.

Same for me... since I have windows 10, ALL the videos does not work, I test with vlc and I can stream fine (SVP works fine for a video I already have on my pc) I dowloaded a lot of codecs for mpc hc too (because 1st I couldn't open the files)... I really don't know what to do now, I have latest version of svptube, MPC-HC I tried the svp package version first, I upgraded to the newest version (in the svp mpc hc file) 32 bits of course, and still have the same problem, is svptube or mpc hc the problem or both how can I know?
