Topic: SVP Performance too low

I'm using SVP for a while now, but recently I started getting these messages. Everything would usually go smooth but on some files I sometimes see this message pop up. I know my pc can handle this.

My computer specs and my SVP settings are on the picture, if there are any other data I should provide just ask and I will.

1. What CPU usage in your system when video is not playing?
2. Check if GPU-acceleration enabled in SVP tray menu.

It's nearly zero, maybe 9-10 if I'm in an intense browsing session where 30-40 tabs are opened.

It is enabled.

Re: SVP Performance too low

It is enabled.

Just to be sure - it is enabled on AMD's card, not on Intel's one, right?

I don't get what you mean by that, doesn't SVP automatically enable it on my GPU? If not, how do I choose which one I want it enabled on?

Re: SVP Performance too low

it's ok, this means Intel's OpenCL drivers isn't installed
just checking options smile

Some advices:
- turn off subtitles
- turn off all video enhancements options in NV control panel
- which video reneder is set in MPC-HC?
- reset SVP profiles to "level 3"

In any case "SVP Index" should always be equal to 1.00 +- 0.02

And post here the "last launch log".

1- Turning subtitles off is not an option, people I'm watching movies with don't know english.  sad
2- My SVP Index is 0.89x, I don't know how to increase it.

4- It works just fine in level 4 120fps no stutters. But isn't my hardware powerful enough to support level 5?

Resetting to level 5 seems to have fixed it, I don't know how, I did reset it to level 5 nearly 10 times before opening this thread... I feel so dumb now.

I guess I got another problem now, subtitles disappear after a while now..

Re: SVP Performance too low

why VMR9?  hmm  choose "EVR Custom presenter"
it can be the root of your problems

and remove "ffdshow Video decoder"

subtitles disappear after a while now..

this is definitely not SVP-related

Re: SVP Performance too low

Everything works now after the restart and the change from VMR9 to EVR Custom!

Thanks guys!   smile
