Topic: DPC Latency spikes causing audio desync. ?? EDIT: Solved... kinda.

I'm getting these results:
i.imgur.com/3mjVw3N.jpg?1

I went through and disabled all of the suggestions in device manager, but the problem persists.  Some of the USB 3.0 host controllers were unable to be disabled.

I even went as far as to reformat my system today with fresh windows 8.1 and I still have the same issue.

Any ideas what else I can do?

My specs:
i7 2600k
8GB RAM
GTX 770
Windows 8.1

GPU-Acceleration is enabled.  I followed this guide:  http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/th … yer.90765/

Thanks.

EDIT:   After checking the DPC Latency Checker website, it appears that it functions incorrectly on windows 8.  Therefor, the results I'm getting are allegedly faulty and something else must be the issue.

Do you have any problems with smoothness of playback?

For the latest OS you should use another DPC Latency software, like LatencyMon.

I get audio desync also and its usually caused by ffdshow buffer values. With my core i7 920 and avisynth from SET I use ffdshoe buffer values of 0 and 15 and also use cores value in SVP of 15. Try playing with ffdshow buffer ahead values.
