Topic: Settings for overlord anime episode 1

Hi,

I was thrown off for the first time when the camera pans in overlord episode 1. Where previously, I didn't notice that much of the "stuterring" in any anime I've watched, so I searched for some info, and it lead me to SVP.

I then tried SVP on overlord, but honestly couldn't tell a difference for the smoothness. With non-anime, I noticed the smoothness, but for some reason can't get it to work on anime, even after I tried messing with the settings.

At 05:04 the pan stutters, 05:20 stutters really badly, but overall, the entire episode was stuttering on camera pan.

FYI, for some video sources/shows, Horriblesubs version love to stutter.

See the video frame rate using mediainfo to know why.

Mediainfo won't show anything. It was Funimation that completely fucked up video - even pans are at 8 fps.
Get a better video instead, there're BS11 raws with subs.

I thought SVP is the "fix". Turns out it was indeed funimation after seeing similar comments everywhere.
