Topic: BitDefender total security 2015 (firewall) blocks the installer

Hi,

I have been trying to install SVP4 full version with no success. I got the email with the key and DL link ana now when I try to install it I just get this error:

"Network error while downloading 'http://www.svp-team.com/files/repo/comm … metersHere': Socket operation timed out."

I'm able to load that xml through browser, no problem. I have tried adding proxy and even VPN but still no help. Tried to run as admin. Nothing helps. Installer is just broken.

Win 10 64bit

still it's not "broken" for several thousands of people...

any firewall? anti virus?

I though I already tried to disable firewall... but it seems not.

BitDefender total security 2015 firewall blocked this installer totally even though there's general rules for http/https/etc protocols.

Now installing the new version. I hope there's "reset to defaults" button for shortcuts. In free version I was not able to disable the shortcuts and there was no reset for them. (btw. what is that "meta" key?)
