Is anyone else still having problems with SVP and CUVID in LAV with win 10?

I keep crashing no matter what drivers I use.. the latest, or even with just CUDA installed after a clean sweep of my drivers -- i can still hear the audio but the video freezes..

nvidia 970
i7-5820
16 gb ram
MSI SLI Plus mobo

Although the subsection says "Windows 10", it's actually misleading as the real problem is nvidia driver which isn't backward compatible.
