Topic: SVP manager "eating" shortcuts for other applications

I'm using keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Shift+C and Ctrl+Shift+V in other applications (Photoshop Lr, Evernote, Gmail client in Chrome).

But when the SVP manager is running this shortcuts aren't working in other applications so I have to shut down the SVP manager every time when I need to use this applications.

I disabled the shortcuts in SVP manager (see the attachment), but it hadn't worked.

Thank you for the help

Sasafras
Thank you for bug report.
We know about the issue from our users via SVP's bug-report system.
Chainik is just working on this issue smile

Re: SVP manager "eating" shortcuts for other applications

Workaround: change the key sequence.

Caution: there's no way to reset them back to default. big_smile

Re: SVP manager "eating" shortcuts for other applications

Re: SVP manager "eating" shortcuts for other applications

did a fix for this not make it into the dev builds? I had this issue on 4.0.0.54 and still having this issue now as I updated to 4.0.0.56. ctrl+shift+v for paste&go in opera does not work when svp manager is running.

edit: nevermind, only took me like a month and writing this post to realize that SVP might be using this particular shortcut, which is indeed the case... /facepalm

Re: SVP manager "eating" shortcuts for other applications

the fix was for the issue when global shortcuts were not "released" if they were actually disabled in the Manager

yes I'm an idiot, let us move on big_smile
