Topic: SVP 4 new install crashes on full screen / large screen

I had no issue with SVP 3.1 but now when I put a movie into fullscreen mode MPC crashes. I did a full install of SVP 4.0 and pay for the license.

I also disabled on MADVR Exclusive in full screen mode.

What else is causing this?

obvious suggestion - switch to EVR-CP

Or try another player: mpc be / potplayer / mpdn / kodi.

How do I set those up  with this? I'm on a 4k 55" monitor

so, what about switching to EVR-CP instead of madVR?
if it'll help then we could try to find out what's wrong with madVR - maybe some of the latest madVR's updates or video driver update

You could always try a fresh copy of MPC-HC Portable.


1. "Install" (it's really just a fancy-looking extractor) MPC-HC portable:

2. Run MPC-HC portable and then follow the instructions here to set it up for SVP:

3. Close MPC-HC portable and then launch it again.

4. Finally in MPC-HC portable, open the video you're trying to play through SVP and see if it works.


NOTE: "livestreamer"will not work correctly with MPC-HC Portable.  If you are not a user of "livestreamer" or do not even know what "livestreamer" is, then ignore this warning.

I would try updating MadVR.

In version 0.90.6 (I think), I had crashes when going to "Maximize Window" but it was fine when it was auto-resized.
Version 0.90.7 fixed the window-size crashes.
