Well i updated my nvidia driver to latest version (361.91) and now svp wont open. at all. I think this is an issue with openCL as i have looked through posts and it seems to be a common issue. All the solutions were to re-install drivers but i tried doing that and rolling back to old drivers but nothing worked. CLinfo.exe crashes on opening as well. at this point unless someone can solve this issue i'm just gonna give up and go without svp

Did you try uninstalling the drivers for Nvidia, Intel, and AMD via DDU?
I had an issue where SVP wouldn't see my Intel GPU until I ran DDU and uninstalled Nvidia, AMD, and Intel GPU drivers and then re-installed the newest Intel and AMD GPU drivers (for reference I have Intel integrated graphics and had upgraded from an Nvidia discrete GPU to an AMD discrete GPU).
BTW, what is your CPU?
I don't have an Intel GPU, and my cpu is an Intel i7 3770.

i7 3770 has Intel HD Graphics 4000 with openCL support.
Is CLinfo working to you?

Please post results here or send us bug-report from SVP-Manager.
CLinfo.exe crashes on opening as well.

How old? I installed what i had before updating nvidia if thats what you mean.

yeah, ive pretty much tried everything. I'm starting to wonder if it is a hardware issue because i have been getting 'display driver error and recovered' messages.

Well you've got integrated graphics - just unplug your discrete GPU, plug your monitor directly into your motherboard, install the Intel GPU drivers, and see if the issues go away.

Normally if you wanted to use the Intel GPU with SVP you wouldn't need to uninstall your Nvidia drivers nor even physically remove the discrete GPU, but if you're possibly having hardware issues then that's a different story...
Thanks for all the help but i dont really want to keep trying stuff. I already got used to watching stuff without svp so i'm just gonna go without it for a while.

But if your GPU is failing then you're going to have a bad time somewhere in the future...
Also, like I said, you can install the Intel integrated GPU drivers and use that with SVP even when using a discrete Nvidia/AMD GPU as your primary.
