Topic: SVP 4 Free ads

The free version of SVP 4 keeps advertising SVP 4 Pro to me through notifications. This page says that SVP 4 Free is ad-free but that clearly isn't true. Is there a way to turn them off or must I revert to an old version of SVP?

About once a day I get a notification in the tray (using Windows 10 btw) saying to upgrade to SVP 4 Pro. Is that not supposed to happen?

not really

first, all notification has a "time to live" value, if it downs to zero the notification won't shown again
at least this's how it should work big_smile
you can check "TTL" values in the "ui.messages" configuration key

all there messages are not "ads" but just a small announcements concerning various SVP's aspects and newly introduced features

second, there're no messages "saying to upgrade to SVP 4 Pro" loaded on the server side right now
what text do you see?
