Topic: SVP won't work

Hi!

I'm getting:

23:22:48.328 [E]: Playback [790e56]: AVS - SVSmoothFps: unable to init GPU-based renderer [code 0xFF]
23:22:48.328 [E]: Playback [790e56]: AVS - (C:\Users\Djago\AppData\Roaming\SVP4\scripts\790e56.avs, line 42)
23:22:48.328 [E]: Playback [790e56]: AVS - (C:\Users\Djago\AppData\Roaming\SVP4\scripts\790e56.avs, line 59)

My specs:

  • Asus Maximus Formula

  • C2Q Q6600

  • 8Gb DDR2

  • GTX 550Ti

Any hint?

Re: SVP won't work

Just a few questions:

Is this a new install or did this error just start happening (aka was SVP working before)?
Are you installing ALL of SVP's components through the installer? Or do you download everything separately?

Anyway:

You can try Right Clicking the SVP Tray Icon go to Application Settings Menu, then Additional Options Menu, then select "Reset Settings To Default", and reset everything (including profiles).

Re: SVP won't work

Hi

More info. I have W10x64 Enterprise Insider 14295.
I've downloaded the SVP installer and tried with the default suggestion (x32) because I always used x32 multimedia programs. After installing what SVP recommended, it screamed that it doesn't had x64 component, so I went back and installed what appears to be lacking. But something seems to be wrong.
Also, resetting to defaults didn't hit the spot.

What now?

What screamed that it doesn't have x64 components? What program? Are you sure you're using MPC 32Bit Edition and not the x64Bit?

clean all the GPU drivers and re-install them from the scratch

Chainik, you hit the nail!
Thx!
