Topic: SVP 4 Pro, Plex and Profiles (Help)

I can't seem to get specific profiles working at all for SVP 4 and Plex.

Been trying to set specific profiles for TV Shows, Anime and Movies in general but conditions don't seem to work.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: SVP 4 Pro, Plex and Profiles (Help)

It should work as long as you see some text in the condition value when you add it while the video is playing.
The only issue can be with the "file name" "equal" to something, use "contains" instead of "equal" here.

Not sure what you mean, but just about no matter what condition I set, Plex Media Player won't use the correct profile. Not with equal, contains, nothing sadly.
Tried Stereo as well, doesn't work. Forcing a condition by for example setting <10000 frame width doesn't seem to work either.

Profiles are not for the Plex, but for the SVP.
"Conditions" help SVP Manager to choose the best matching user-defined profile.
SVP have no idea what is "TV Shows", "Anime", "Movies" or even "Stereo".

Profile containing condition "width < 10000" will match any video.

Profiles are not for the Plex, but for the SVP.

Yeah, but it works correctly in regards to MPC-HC and PotPlayer. Setting up profiles in SVP with for example full path file containing for example "Anime" or "TV Shows" works.
That means it automatically selects the correct profile. However, setting "conditions" to try and make that happen with Plex Media Player does absolutely nothing.

Re: SVP 4 Pro, Plex and Profiles (Help)

Okey...
Plex doesn't play local files, it always plays streams from the Plex Server.
Which means SVP doesn't know which local file is actually playing.

Basic profile conditions (width, height, etc) always works, while "file name / path / extension" and some others won't.
This's what I meant by "it should work as long as you see some text in the condition value when you add it while the video is playing."

When you add new "file name" condition and you see the empty value field - this means SVP has no information about the actual file name, and this condition won't work.

Ahha, this makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
