Topic: Fast motion sequence not smooth with SVP Pro

Hi, I'm not sure if this was asked before sad

When I watched 1080p vid using SVP Pro, everything is fine and 60 fps good most of the time. EXCEPT when there is a fast motion/action, it turns choppy. The framerate doesn't seem to drop (checked from MPC), but it looks kinda like a slideshow. After the motion stops, the video becomes smooth again.

My spec is Core i7-6500U 2.5-3.1 ghz, GTX 950m, which I think is acceptable enough. The vid was rendered with the onboard Intel HD 520 (QuickSync), while GPU acceleration in SVP was with GTX 950m. I tried playing around with MPC Hardware Decoder (changing to CUVID, DXA2...), but it doesn't improve the situation.

Which setting in SVP Pro should I try? Or should I modify something in MPC/ffdshow?????

Re: Fast motion sequence not smooth with SVP Pro

If you're using custom video profile settings in SVP, try changing "Processing of scene changes"  to "blend adjacent frames".

Also, if the source is 24fps, then running your display at 48Hz or 72Hz could help some as well.
