Topic: SVP Index <1

Hello,

So here's my problem, i'm recently having this message while watching my animes in 60 fps : SVP INDEX < 0.89 ( i know the value has to be between 0.98 and 1.02 ) and it makes the video stutter, audio out of sync and subs a bit late.

1 week ago i had a E8500 dual core 3.3ghz 8gb DDR2 that i've changed few days ago into a i7 975 3.3ghz and 6gb DDR3 1800 hz. My gpu is an ATI 5770. I watch my animes mostly in 720p btw and using those softwares :
MPC-HC 1.7.9
Avisynth 2.5.8
SVP 3.1.7a
Reclock 1.6

Because i had absolutly no problems about performances on my old configuration, i'm wondering why would i have that now i have a better config, i've been watching graphs and memory usage isn't going higher than 3/3.5 gb and cpu is not going higher than 20%.

I've tried to search different solutions but nothing works so far so i'm out of options.

If anyone got a way to resolve this that would be great, would be hard to get back on 24 fps after all this time at 60 fps tongue

Thx for reading, ask for more informations if you need.

Re: SVP Index <1

Thermal throttle?

Re: SVP Index <1

The thermal paste is not really new but still fine, its not overheating , i'm sure of that

Re: SVP Index <1

just to be clear: you've just changed core2 to core i7 (+mobo), nothing more
the same video card, the same OS including all the video apps installed
right?

===
BTW, check AMD's control panel and turn off all the video enhancement options

Re: SVP Index <1

Yes i've changed the cpu and ram, motherboard aswell ( with cpu ) but i don't think the mb affects anything about that. And about the rest of the pc + softwares and os, nothing changed.
For the amd control panel, i'm gonna do what you said.

Re: SVP Index <1

Okay well, problems solved, after you told me to check the AMD control panel, somehow it wasn't installed properly even though my games were running perfectly, i didn't think about that and i've reinstalled once again my driver on my gpu and now its perfect, probably more fluid than it was on my old config thx to that i7 ^_^

Well thx for the help, nice to have fast answers.
Keep up the good work with svp its a wonderful software.

Bye
