Topic: "mpv --input-ipc-server=/tmp/mpvsocket" does not work

Hi,

I have downloaded SVP 4 Linux, and installed according to the manual.
I can play videos interpolated when I play the video from SVPManager app, but putting option "--input-ipc-server=/tmp/mpvsocket" after mpv command does not work.

My environment is:
OS: Ubuntu Linux 16.04
CPU: Intel Core i7
GPU: None(inside CPU)

P.S.
In addition, I have to run SVPManager with sudo, because ~/SVP\ 4/plugins folder is always set to unreadable, when running SVPManager. Is this a bug or something?

Re: "mpv --input-ipc-server=/tmp/mpvsocket" does not work

Ok, I found the solution.
I have to run SVPManager behind, and run mpv --input-ipc-server=/tmp/mpvsocket.

what exactly "doesn't work"? mpv shows an error or SVP doesn't detect presence of mpv?

it can be an installer bug...
will "chown -R user:group "~/SVP 4" help?

Yes, "doesn't work" means SVP doesn't detect playback of mpv. However I found that when I run SVPManager in the background, SVP detects and works well.

Thanks! It worked! Now I don't need to use sudo command.
("user:group" didn't work so I used my user name)
