Topic: SVP not working with MPC-HC 64 bit

Hi. I've installed SVP 4 using the setup from SVP website. When i play videos with MPC 32 bit player, i could only hear sound from the left earcup of my razer kraken 7.1 headset. It used to work well but I think I messed up something and suddenly this issue started. I tried reinstalling SVP multiple times but still the problem persists. So i downloaded MPC 64 bit player and installed it (after uninstalling the 32 bit player) and now the sound is back to normal but SVP doen't run with MPC 64 bit on my system. Is there any solution to either of these  problems?

Thanks in advance

Re: SVP not working with MPC-HC 64 bit

For one thing, SVP doesn't do anything with the audio, so it was likely MPC-HC that was at fault in the first place.  Also, SVP + MPC-HC 64bit has some stability issues so it's not usually recommended...

In 32bit MPC-HC, go to View -> Options

Then under "Internal Filters" select "Audio Switcher".  Make sure all the options are unchecked except "Enable built-in audio switcher filter (requires restart)".

Restart MPC-HC and test your audio to see if it works.

If that doesn't work, then do the exact same thing but then uncheck everything, yes including "Enable built-in audio switcher filter (requires restart)".

Again, restart MPC-HC and test your audio to see if it works.

This's because installing mpc-hc 64-bit is not enough, you also need to install a number of 64-bit packages via SVP's Maintenance tool.
