Topic: SVP 4 pro causes crash with MPC-HC on all .MP4 and .flv files.

I am at a loss as to how to fix this.  if I disable svp then these files play on MPC-HC, but with SVP enabled they insta-crash when opening.

When these files are playing with svp disabled, if I enable svp while they are playing, then MPC-HC crashes straight away. 

I am only having luck with .MKV and .AVI files on SVP 4

This happens with "Nvidia CUVID", "DXVA2 (Copy-back)" and "none" under hardware acceleration in the LAV video decoder settings.

Complete uninstall of all SVP 4 components (including MPC-HC) and reinstall does not solve this issue.

Assistance would be vastly appreciated.

You're not using a codec pack, are you?  If so, uninstall it and try again with MPC-HC.

(depending on the contents of the codec pack you may need to then reinstall avisynth and/or ffdshow)

Did you try to reinstall/update graphics driver?

One thing s/he could also try is to disable GPU acceleration in SVP and see if things still crash.
