I was going to start my own topic, but I seem to have the same issue. When a video starts, a second or so is cut off in MPC-HC.
It also seems have a short delay in the audio when you skip to a specific time in a video, or when you pause and play
I'd like to get the player to not essentially skip the first second of the video.
Removing the audio delay when pausing/seeking would be nice as well.
Is there certain settings I should change or play around with?
I'm also using SVPtube and atm I'm trying to watch a YouTube video which is displaying these issues.
Those issues do not exist on YouTube's own player, but it of course only runs in 30 fps (unless is specifically states that the particular video is running in 60fps).
If there's a way to add a second at the start of the video where it's just a blank screen, so that I can remove the effect of the delay, I'd like to know how to do that.
I'd be willing to try another video player if that might help, if I can get SVP 4 Free running with it.
I didn't really want to have to pay to get it working with VLC or something.
From what I've seen so far this video interpolation is a very nice feature for lower fps videos.
There's a lot of configuration options in MPC-HC, I'm not sure where to start or if I should leave most settings alone.
I've watched a couple videos and visited a few websites with tips for option configuration settings that I've employed.
Besides all that, and this is a separate issue, I'm guessing it's just the fact that YouTube made it impossible to download 1080p video with the audio included some years ago (they separated the audio & video into two separate streams for qualities above 720p I believe), but it appears we are limited to 720p max if we want to watch YouTube videos? If I try to play it at 1080p it only plays the first 10 seconds. I haven't searched the forum to see if this has been answered, if you don't want to answer this question here I could make my own topic.
