SVP - no video playback Help please

Hello, I reformat my computer often and installing svp(and mpchc) has never been a problem. Yesterday I did a full reformat, I went to reinstall svp pro and it seemed as though everything went fine, I tried to watch a video using mpc hc and svp did not recognize a video was being played. I reinstalled svp a few times and still nothing worked. I also tried to restart SVP as administrator and it did not work. So I right clicked a video playing in mpc hc and ffdshow was not there, when I checked in external filters ffdshow was listed however it said "not registered." ffdshow is not even installed according to control panel. I thought perhaps it was a problem with the pro version, so i tried to reinstall the free version from the download section here, and still nothing has worked, I was even annoyed enough to reinstall windows again still didn't work! what should i do from here? I appreciate any help, and would like to get svp working again on my PC, thanks everyone.

P.s just tried svp offline package and also did not work.
