Topic: SVPTube 2 Captions Won't Display

Hi! New to this forum.

I've set the desired caption language to download in SVPTube 2, but they never show up in MPC-HC. They don't even show up as selectable in MPC's list of subtitles available.  I've attached a picture of my subtitle settings. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Can you give an example youtube link with subtitles not displayed with SVPtube 2?

Any video that has captions won't have displayed subtitles. For instance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSvNhxKJJyU definitely doesn't work out.

Subtitles from your link are works to me in 2 players: mpv player and MPC-BE.
Not working in MPC-HC.

To see subtitles I choose player from menu: SVPtube - Video player - mpv player.
And before click play I select American English

Video players compatibility -> Subtitles on YouTube (VTT)
MPC-HC = No
MPC-BE, mpv = Yes

It used to be plain .srt format in the past but now they switched to .vtt

Well, that explains it. I'll try switching to mpv and see if that does anything.
