Topic: Stutter every second, help?

Hey guys,

First of all let me say I absolutely love this project, and will buy the pro version as soon as I know how my issue can be resolved.

I just got a new pc and monitor but have an extremely annoying stutter about every second. I tried it with multiple hq video's, and the problem is always there.
Here's a short video I made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fisXWLRBfAE
And here is a screenshot of the log: http://i.imgur.com/3CYK5fw.jpg

The software I use:

Windows 10
MPC-HC (x64)
madVR (smooth motion enabled)
ffdshow
SVP (latest free version)

Hardare:
LG 34UM88C (60hz 3440x1440)
MSI GTX 1070
Intel i7-6700k

If you guys need more info from me I'm glad to give it, but I'm not very knowledgeable on this subject.

Any help would be much appreciated!

No one?

Re: Stutter every second, help?

My guess is that you're using MadVr and you need to lower your settings. Your "average stats rendering" is too high at 17.34ms. You need to drop it below your vsync of 16.67ms.

Re: Stutter every second, help?

You can try EVR Custom with D3D Fullscreen option enabled
MPC-HC menu View - Options... - Output tab

Re: Stutter every second, help?

Thanks MAG79, that did the trick! However now I'm experiencing more screen tearing than before, anything I can try for that?

Re: Stutter every second, help?

Screen tearing you can fix in your graphic driver setting.
You need to enable VSync globally or for MPC-HC application personally.

In case with NVIDIA driver: NVIDIA control panel - 3D settings - 3D settings control - Vertical synchronization - Enable

Re: Stutter every second, help?

Dude, you're a saint. One last question, I get a lot of "squiggly lines" around moving objects, like so: http://i.imgur.com/EFT2qCF.png

Is there anyting I can do against this ? Has the pro version more options when it comes to this? Or is this just something you get with SVP? If so, that's alright, it's still a small price to pay for the smoothness. Thanks again!
