Topic: Ffdshow filter not registered.

I uninstalled my old ffdshow entry by accident via windows uninstall, so I removed then added ffdshow again via SVP Maintainance tool but the filter in external filter still says <not registered>
Do you guys know where is ffdshow located after I add it again?

Re: Ffdshow filter not registered.

That was pretty weird, I can't get ffdshow 32bit to re-install via Maintainance tool but 64bit was able to (installed to Program Files by default), so I had to install the 32bit version manually...
Don't know why the tool wasn't working but at least the problem is solved.

Re: Ffdshow filter not registered.

probably because ffdshow uninstall doesn't remove all the registry entries and SVP install still thinks that ffdshow32 is installed
