Topic: Bug with installing 3.1.7

I tried installing 3.1.7, because I find it more convenient to use than 4.0 and 3.0. But everytime I try and run the file it says it need MS visual 2013 x86 to be installed, which I already have...

Can anyone help me out on this?

Try to install MSVC 2013 Redistributable from this link:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa … x?id=40784
You need to run vcredist_x86.exe

I did exactly that, but it still gives the error for some reason. Isn't there any workaround for the pop-up, because I have MSVC 2013 x86 already installed?

Hint: MSVC 2013 x86 has several versions. You need latest one by link above.

Did you try to install exactly THIS version?

Yes. I just did it to confirm it again and still no result. The pop-up just keeps coming telling me to install MSVC 2013 x86...

It is strange.

You can use installer with all prerequisites included:
http://www.svp-team.com/files/SVP_3.1.7.exe

It will install MSVC 2013 Redistributable with version needed.
