Topic: Can't find video files in "Browse for a video file to transcode"

hello i am having this issue where i cant find any video to transcode. need it to convert anime to 60fps my laptop cant handle the live conversion.. can anyone help me on this? i am stuck with 60fps fluidity and i cant go back to 24fps choppy videos.. i can't find anyone else with the same problem as me.. I am on ElementaryOS.. thanks!

there's an "all files" option in that window

for some reason my screenshot is not sent through just now so i will try again.. i didnt get any all files option there. here's my screenshot: https://ibb.co/kt6eF7 even when i press the files of type it shows nothing there except for ffmpeg.

how do i give it the path to ffmpeg? sorry i am still a newbie on ubuntu or linux..

nevermind i found the files after some googling. to anyone thats having the problem find the ffmpeg file with: sudo find /usr -name ffmpeg . if it doesnt work then you can use sudo apt-get install ffmpeg . then try again
