Topic: Do I need SVP Pro for 4k @ 60FPS

Well SVP Free Edition is working perfectly fine with me and so happy about.
Until I connect my PC to my 4k Samsung TV, all movies run on 26-30 FPS with SVP on.
Is there something I'm missing here? or is it because I'm using the free edition.
I run everything in the default settings.
my Setup is:
i5-7600k
GTX 1080 ti
16Gb Ram

you don't need Pro version for this

your TV may run in 4K@30 Hz mode due to the TV / video card / HDMI cable limitations

Ok nice that we narrowed it down to TV / video card / HDMI cable limitations.
However, when I play games it runs on 4k @ 60FPS. Would that indicate to anything?

Have you played games on your 4K TV using the PC? Do games run at 60FPS with no issues on the TV?

It sounds like you're connecting the TV via HDMI 1.0. For example my Sony 4K HDR TV has only TWO out of the FOUR ports that run HDMI 2.0

So you need a HDMI 2.0+ wire and a HDMI 2.0+ port on your TV and a videocard that supports HDMI 2.0+

Your graphics card isn't the issue, it's either a very old HDMI wire, or you're connecting it to the wrong HDMI port on the TV. Check the manual, what model TV are you running?

Also another thing, for example with my Sony 4K HDR TV, I also have to go to Settings, click on External Inputs, then click HDMI Signal Format, and change that to Enhance 4K Signal Format (Enhanced Mode), to allow for 4:4:4 Chroma @ 4K @ 60Hz.

Make sure you check your Samsung TV Model (exact model) and make sure it's running at 4K @ 60Hz
