Topic: Few questions from new user

Hello i'm new to the SVP and want to enjoy it in it fullest but have had encountered those problems and would appreciate any help.

1) Have anyone had that error from the photo and knows what to do with it? Really bothers me as it's displayed through whole video

2) I also have those warnings in my log
20:10:09.274 [W]: Control: failed to register shortcut Meta+Ctrl+N
20:10:09.275 [W]: Control: failed to register shortcut Meta+Ctrl+C
20:10:09.275 [W]: Control: failed to register shortcut Meta+Ctrl+V

3) Is there a way to check if SVP work's? Some kind of fps counter (just curious to see the difference on videos) i have tried ctrl+j but that always shows me 24fps or 30fps.

I'm afraid this means SVP doesn't work at all.

Do you have %APPDATA%\SVP4\logs folder?
Probably there's an anti-virus software preventing file creation - then add %APPDATA%\SVP4 path into the exclusion list.

I have that folder and files in it, have it as exclusion, i have also reinstalled whole SVP with my anti-virus turned off and tried running it with it closed.

I have managed to fix my first problem, that text no longer displays but now when i watch something SVP does not detect it saying that there is no video playing. Does anyone know what to do with it?

I have managed to run it on mpv and sm player but not on my favorite players which are mpc-hc and mpc-be, they went back to showing that error from first post and i still don't know what to do with it. Could you tell me if this version of ffdshow is the right one? https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/

Or maybe i should have done some tweaking to ffdshow that i don't know about?

The error from first post is about access rights to open file. It cant depends on ffdShow version.
logs forlder is SVP folder. SVP must have access rights to write and to read for this folder.

From sourceforge you need to download version 5433 by clsid

How do i give it full access? I have not inherited full control for all users on that folder as well as whole Roaming.

Start from checking. Can you read and write file in the folder %APPDATA%\SVP4\logs?
Just simple notepad txt file.

Ah! You probably have some non-ASCII characters in your Windows username, like ''Ł". Right?

It looks like an Avisynth's limitation, not SVP's fault. We'll try to add some workaround for this situation in the next release.
Probably setting the correct language in Control Panel -> Region -> Administrative -> "Language for non-Unicode programs" might help hmm
