Topic: Video playback is capped at 59.999 fps.

Hey there, SVP forums! Big fan of the the Smooth Video Project, this thing is awesome! I bought it two years ago and it's worth every penny.

I've run into a bit of a snag after installing SVP on this computer though. It's certainly beefy enough to do so, but I can't get SVP to play anything at a higher framerate than 59.999 fps. I've got an ROG SWIFT PG279Q and I've double checked to ensure it's in 144 Hz mode, and it totally is! I've tried making a custom profile to ensure that the "Frame rate conversion" is set "To screen", but it still gets stuck at 59. I've also tried the factors such as "x2", and even the fixed frame rate options up to 120 fps, but they all cap out at exactly 59.999 for some reason. I know that SVP is working because the overlay appears in the video players, but how can I go about increasing my framerate further?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Video playback is capped at 59.999 fps.

If you have source with low frame rate (24-30 fps) then SVP must work and give you desired framerate at output. Output frame rate must be equal to display refresh rate.
But if you have source with high framerate (50-60 fps) then you need to encrease value of setting frc.tarfet.max in all settings window (Application settings - Additional options - All settings...)
The default value is 47. Change it to 61 or more.
