Topic: SVP on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi,
I have never used linux before, and I am trying to install SVP 4.  I have installed all prerequisites and found a static ffmpeg library to give svp, but the encoding does not start.

If you're talking about transcoding plugin, SVP may ask for a ffmpeg executable, not a "static library".
After that there're a few logs to examine - SVP's "Events log" plus "coder.log" in the logs directory.
