Topic: Why can't i seem to untick "read only" on the video filter folder vlc?

Couldn't fit "for vlc" on the end of the title.

So mpc hc for some reason only plays audio now in mono on my left speaker/ear in my headphones, and i tried to reset it, reinstall it, but still only left side.

So i tried another attempt with VLC by adding svp to it with the video filters, but svp can't seem to get write access to the video filter folder. I untick "read only" to give write access, click apply and ok and it says to give admin permission to change this,  press continue, it closes, but when i check the properties, it's back to being read only? Why is it so? VLC isn't running, so should "obey my commands"

Have you launched MPC-HC - View - Options - Miscelaneous - Settings management - Reset?

I untick "read only" to give write access

In instruction I dont see "read only" option:

Try to give access to the folder by this instruction
