Topic: It is posible to encode with fill black bars option?
I want to know if it is posible to encode a video and also add the "fill the black bars" feature in the transcoding options.

I think it's a bad idea cause it will eat too much bitrate and still will have visible compression artifacts.
Just a thought. Is it possible to fill-in black bars with blocky lighting? Meaning using algorithm which will provide blocks/squares instead of fluid waves?
That will look worse, sure, bit still might be better for IMAX movies where part of movie is 16:9 while another part is classic widescreen movie with black bars.
At least this way encoded movie will look as a whole thing more or less, while non-encoded will always lag with Auto black-bars detection.
> lag with Auto black-bars detection.
This detection works in real-time. So it can detect black-bars after some frames will be processed to decide it is video with black-bars not a single frame. So, lag is feature of real-time algorythm.
