Topic: SVPManager not starting since last update

Hello,

since the installation of the latest update, SVPManager doesn't start anymore. Instead it just hangs in the background, constantly taking ~18% cpu usage. I tried to reinstall and remove all settings etc. several times, but nothing worked.
It even hangs at the installation itself at "Installing component SVP Manager (Pro)" -> I have to kill the subprocess manually for the installation to continue.
There doesn't even seem to be any log out there...

The FAQ stated that this "doesn't start problem" often is caused by some Intel GPU driver, but I have a Xeon CPU that doesn't even have an iGPU. Beside this, I tried reinstalling my AMD driver, too, but that didn't help...

kill the process, run it again, see %APPDATA%\SVP4\logs\active.log

I've done that multiple times, but it doesn't even create logs or create the directory %APPDATA%\SVP4\. Additionally, I completely wiped my graphic driver with the Guru3D tool, but it still doesn't help. <.<
I'm on Win10 x64 btw.

Yep, that one works perfectly fine.

Seems I have found a strange bug since no one seems to have reported such an issue yet. At least not in the forum.

If anyone with the same problem stumbles upon this thread:
After a long journey of trying different things, the installation of the Win10 update 1809 solved this problem for me. Windows... >_>
