Topic: Missing 32-bit and 64-bit Engine (Win10)

Just in case it's an installation problem--during the installation process, the download hangs at different percentages, but always at the point of "Installing component SVP Manager (Pro)".

I can click cancel, which "cancels" the installation process and hit it again to close it, and then open the SVP manager.
It didn't install any video player despite selecting it in the install. Pre-installing my own video player and running that gives me this error.

This happens with both 32-bit and 64-bit players. MPC-HC and MPC-BE, with and without any additional codec packs.

The SVP site tells me to download svpflow based on the engine error, but not how to install it. I can't even download it through the SVP manager because going to Utilities > Additional programs and features... doesn't open any new windows. I downloaded svpflow from the website manually, but I'm at a loss with what to do with these files.

it doesn't do anything special there, just copy files and create shortcut

how long did you wait?

Tried letting it go for 40 minutes, then rebooting after uninstalling, and it's again at this.

Nope, it's missing many other components.

BTW you can get an offline installation file from the License Manager.

Even with the offline installer, it gets stuck at the same component, although much earlier in the installation. I tried installing it on two other drives just now.

It always gets stuck after *SVP\script\base.avs

there's a small chance it actually stuck on the next component in the list, which is ffdshow
try to install ffdshow 64-bit manually first - https://www.videohelp.com/software/ffdshow

probably it just waits for a UAC in a background window and you're missing it?

one last idea is to run installer with admin rights - in case the problem is somehow connected with UAC
