Topic: Support for higher than 144 fps?

Is there currently support for 240fps? If not is the max 144fps? Will there ever be support for 240fps? I have a 1080p 144hz monitor right now and play to upgrade to a 1440p 165 hz or hopefully 240hz which theres some rumors about. Regardless if its  capped at 144fps is this because of a software limitation or was it just chosen because artifacting at higher than that would become almost impossible to not notice?

and you can set any specific target via "all settings"

I am using a 1440p 165Hz monitor. SVP4 has no problems converting videos to 165fps
