Developers, stop reseting the licence. Perpetual-subscription?

Good day,

black friday is there, what a coincidence: Out of the blue the program-activation gets reset, asking me to registration again.
Coincidences everywhere; 2 -3 times a year.

So what do I bought?
1) A licence key giving me infinite (1 computer) access to the program (I can use offline)
2) A You'll own nothing-perpetual-licence subscription (WEF Klaus Schwab likes), where I own nothing (no program) and have to constantly prove via internet access that I bought this perpetual-licence subscription and get granted access to your guys program-account.

Do I get an answer from the developers?
Looks like it is the 2). And 2) means once you guys shut your online servers down or decide for whatever reason to abandon this project, I lose access to it.

I'm not giving you guys any money in the future if is 2).
