Topic: Real time Rife at more than 2x doesn't work

For some reason, when using rife in real time, I can't enable it at anything other than 2x without the video experiencing heavy stutters even with low gpu usage. I used to be able to with an older rife version. Now with v4 and newer i experience heavy stutters. Is this a bug? Or maybe some kind of limitation with v4?

Re: Real time Rife at more than 2x doesn't work

"more than 2x" requires two times more GPU power

Re: Real time Rife at more than 2x doesn't work

yes I know. What I mean, is that if I use flowframes or don't use real time interpolation, I can do it without any issues. I used to be able to do it with rife 3 versions. My gpu usage is only around 30-40% with 1080p 2x interpolation. I have a 4090

Re: Real time Rife at more than 2x doesn't work

Well I messed around with it and seems I was right. Some kind of bug. 3x real time interpolation is working now at 50% gpu usage on average. Idk what I did to fix it, but it's working perfectly now

Can you do real time 4k at x2 frame rate?

No I can't use it in real time 4k. Without real time, I get around 25-33fps depending on the 4k video I'm transcoding
