Topic: Getting Error: "createKernel: newComputePipelineState failed"

Hello, I am on my m1 macbook air and I am trying to use the video transcoder feature. When I transcode 1080p footage it works fine without errors, but as soon as I try and transcode 4k footage, I get this error: "UNSUPPORTED (log once): createKernel: newComputePipelineState failed". When I try use the video player to play the content in my desired resolution it works fine. Also, I have tried the native ARM binaries as well as the x86 ones, shagle.club and I get the same response on both. Some help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks. GEORG SCHUBERT

Edit: I am not sure if its important, but it also exits with code 9

Re: Getting Error: "createKernel: newComputePipelineState failed"

well, M1 doesn't like our HDR tone mapping code for some reason, this's all I can say for now...

if you switch to ffmpeg's tone mapping (Advanced mode, lavfi field, drop-down button, "tonemap") it will work

Re: Getting Error: "createKernel: newComputePipelineState failed"

Fixed - ver. 4.6.246-1.

Fast tone mapping works now, though ffmpeg's one is more high-quality (probably hmm)
