Topic: Unable to add +5 -5 Second buttons to SVP MPV

Hi everyone, I have been trying to add/change the forward, reverse buttons to +5 -5 Second buttons to SVP MPV

All the instructions i have found was to add:

RIGHT  seek  5 exact
LEFT   seek -5 exact

to the input.conf file and in some places was told to add it to mpv.conf

I do not have mpv installed on my PC other than through SVP so i added those 2 lines to
C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP 4\mpv64\input.conf
C:\Program Files (x86)\SVP 4\mpv64\mpv.conf

and just to make sure i also added it to
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\input.conf
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\mpv.conf

Im stumped.  Any ideas?

No clue why these commands don't do anything.
If i add following in mpv.conf it starts seeking in increments of 5 seconds just like you mentioned:
hr-seek=yes

thank you for replying flowreen91.  ive added that line to my mpv.conf

i may be missing something obvious here.  when you say "seeking" do you mean youre hitting the buttons at the bottom of left mpv (left or right and below double left or right) buttons?  or is it a keyboard shortcut youre mentioning?  I was going for something like in vlc that allows me to add buttons to the bottom portion of the video where it shows how much is played.

Note:  Ok i got it to work.  It doesnt actually change those buttons on the bottom of the screen.   it changes the keyboard arrow buttons, which i hate.  so i use my mouse software to configure left and right arrows into the mouse.
