Topic: Issue with SVPTube - Google(Youtube)Account + 2FA.

Hello ,

recently i have set-up Passkey for accessing Google Mail and Google Account and so far it seem functin well;

however, it seem to have lost functionality with SVPtube since it no longer opens links reliably;


am a bit at loss and wondering if this can be fixed;


error is like

if you don't use auth in SVPtube then this is not related to your account settings at all
otherwise you need to pass 2fa code, dunno how often it changes?

since it happens only on linux installation, the problem might be somewhere else;
on windows with svptube no such problem.

have however installed accourding to your instructions for ubuntu 24.04 (notes for linux)
do i need to install additional programs such as yt-dlp?

must have gotten it wrong on linux, or else being blocked somehow.

on the main installation that is using a derivative spinoff of debina > devuan

python3.8 got installed manually,

there is another error, this one would hope to see corrected.

when i use a "private window" which suppose does not use my google credentials
on linux, it still would not function, so i think there is an error with my installation somehow

linux ytdlp version is just outdated
