This video was working fine in PotPlayer until I applied last update. Now it crashes.

Re: Crash since last update

Same with a lot of other online videos, like this:

Or this:

Tried Uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch but it's the same, keep crashing.

Re: Crash since last update

Same here, crash after few seconds.

+ It crashes when it is using NVIDIA TensorRT. Works fine with ncnn

7800X 3D + RTX 4090

Re: Crash since last update

Chiming in to say I've got this issue too.

Found that it only works on videos with 1920x800 or 2560x1440 resolution for me, otherwise it crashes the player app. x264, x265 and HDR work at 800p. Anything different, even 1920x804, 1916x800 or 1920x696 crashes it.
As said above, ncnn works fine, TensorRT crashes.

Using a 3060 Ti with MPC-HC and MPV

Edit:
As mentioned in the RIFE megathread, seems to be with the model divisable by 16 mismatch to source
Transcoder log: VapourSynth encountered a fatal error: Filter SVSmoothFps declared the size 1920x1088, but it returned a frame with the size 1920x1080

Re: Crash since last update

narkohol

I guess you manually updated AVSF by copying all files into SVP 4\avsf...

Maybe, I tried so much stuff I don't remember.
It works now without crashes, but maybe the installation should give some error or whatever?

The log/details say "Press any key to continue..." but it seems the user can't do that.

the installer stayed at that 97% and not even trying to Cancel worked. I had to kill the whole SVP-maintenance in the task manager.

Re: Crash since last update

this is because you _manually_ replaced avsf/register.bat
the one installed by SVP is w/o "pause" command, obviously

Ok, but shouldn't the new installation overwrite those files then?

Re: Crash since last update

nope because AVSF package was not updated
and Vapoursynth installation just wanted to re-register AVSF filter just in case
