Topic: Profile Rule for Plex?

sooooooooo automatically chosing profiles in SVP is there a  way to set a rule towards a specific library or something?

id doesnt seem SVP receives a file location or name. all my libraries are in 1080p and mostly h264 so thats not something i could use.

looking into the logs all i see is

Media: codec type is Alliance for Open Media AV1, D3D11, BT.709 BT.1886
Media: video 1920x1080 [PAR 1.000] at 23.976 fps (via video player)
Media: video looks like some kind of stream
VideoPlayer: mpv v0.39.0-637-gd87113fd-dirty /via 'mpvpipe'
VideoPlayer: mpv [Plex.exe] connected, waiting for the video info...

filename / url shows 192-168-178-30.a0129165d55444829b8fcf9416892de2.plex.direct

for now i guess ill just run svp when i chose to watch anime manually.

any tips? ^^

Re: Profile Rule for Plex?

You can use any rules form the list: Conditions for Applying the Profile

Why you don't use Full file path?

Re: Profile Rule for Plex?

SVP can only get an URL from Plex and there're no hints for "a specific library or something" in that URL

Re: Profile Rule for Plex?

sooo, its not possible? hmm

i am the admin of my plex. the server is in my local network. other tools can access the plex api too.

Re: Profile Rule for Plex?

not possible in the current version, but maybe we could do something about it...

Re: Profile Rule for Plex?

not sure if its worth it if it didnt come up until now but id sure be glad ^^

Re: Profile Rule for Plex?

just saw "profile conditions: added “screen refresh rate”, “file name/path” fixed for Plex" in the changelog and wanted to say thanks, works like a charme.
